Myndir mánaðarins: April 2007

Í mánuðinum er tilkynnt um 32 nýjar leigumyndir. Ég skráði hjá mér eftirfarandi titla og bar undir Rotten Tomatoes. Niðurstaðan er hér fyrir neðan með titli myndar, tölfræði jákvæðra umfjallana og almenna umsögn.

You get this hilarious but moving satire about a dysfunctional family obsessed with winning. Credit must go to the ensemble cast that includes Greg Kinnear, Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Alan Arkin, and Abigail Breslin and the delightfully funny script by Michael Arndt, which first-time directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris handled perfectly.

A fun, whimsical tale about about an office drone trying to save his life from his narrator. The cast obviously is having a blast with the script, but Stranger Than Fiction's tidy lessons make this metaphysical movie feel like Charlie Kaufman-lite.
